Personal Summary

Good day.  My name is Brian Tate. I started working in a fish plant at age of 16 in Ucluelet at Central Native Fisherman's Cooperative, then I was at Ucluelet Seafoods Processors. I have 12 years working there doing most jobs from unloading to salmon processing, herring and ground fish. I drove a forklift for a few years back when no certificate was necessary. I also was an employee of Bornstein Seafoods for 1 year in 1998. I am able to fillet halibut, clean salmon, head off, belly cut, and gill.

I have my SVOP,  MROC, Marine Basic First Aid, Domestic Vessel Safety formerly (MED 1&2), and Class 5 Driver's Licence. I have experience running herring skiffs with out board motors both tiller and hydrolic steering, 25 ft bowpicker, and various other sport boats.
